The new St Mary’s MA in Biblical Studies

We are very excited about our new MA in Biblical Studies at St Mary’s University, taught by the team from the Centre for the Social-Scientific Study of the Bible, which will be available from September 2017 (first classes mid-September). We’ve designed the MA around our research interests and expertise, so you’ll be getting us at our best and most enthusiastic! We had a splendid day conference at St Mary’s University on Tuesday on the theological legacy of Pope Benedict XVI, co-sponsored by our Benedict XVI Centre for Religion and Society and our Centre for the Social-Scientific Study of the Bible. Details of our day conference on Benedict XVI/Joseph Ratzinger

    Here’s more detailed information on the soon-coming day conference on the theological impact of Pope Benedict XVI/Joseph Ratzinger on Tuesday 8 November. This should be a cracker! New Testament folk will be particularly interested to hear Richard Burridge (pictured on the right above), whose work on the genre of the Gospels has been incredibly influential.
