Ruth 2: a sermon

Here’s another sermon from our evening series at Emmanuel Church, Loughborough on women of the Old Testament, this time on Ruth—a figure with whom it’s easier to be sympathetic than Jael, the subject of my previous sermon here. As with the Jael sermon, below is a link to the YouTube video and here’s the link for the set of slides for the talk.

A two-part overview of the book of Ruth

We’re starting a sermon series on the book of Ruth at my church, All Saints, Ealing, this coming Sunday (10 January 2021), and I’ve done an overview of the book to orientate the congregation. It’s in these two videos: the first is just over 9 minutes, and the second is a little under 17 minutes. Comments very welcome!
