My new book: Reading Acts Theologically

I’m delighted to say that my new book is now available. It’s a ‘collected essays’ volume, bringing together thirteen essays about Acts that I’ve written over the last twenty years as I’ve worked on my Word Biblical Commentary on Acts. Most have been published elsewhere; two are published for the first time here. Jonah 3: a sermon in two parts

I’m preaching again this coming Sunday (7 November) for my church, All Saints, Ealing, and am speaking from the Old Testament reading, Jonah 3. I’ve focused my talk(s) around the way God is portrayed in the passage, seen through the eyes of Jonah and the people of Nineveh. Recent and forthcoming publications

It’s been a bit of a busy time for publications for me, small and larger, so here’s a little update.
