How I researched and wrote a conference paper

Our St Mary’s education journal ReflectED has just published an article of mine reflecting on the process of writing a conference presentation, called ‘Thinking it through: researching and writing a conference paper’. Video of my lecture on Acts and missio Dei

The good folk at Laidlaw College, Auckland (New Zealand) have posted a video of a lecture I did last August online. I spoke on ‘Acts and the mission of God’ and enjoyed a thoughtful and engaging question time afterwards. There are also lots of other good and interesting videos on their Youtube channel by folk such as Richard Bauckham, Rikk Watts. Enjoy!

Howard (as he always asked to be known) was for many years Professor of New Testament Exegesis at the University of Aberdeen, and latterly Professor Emeritus. He was a lovely human being, a delightful Christian man, and an outstanding scholar and teacher—not least of the many PhD students he supervised. I first met him when I Continue reading →
